We hired this company to remove a few trees from our property. The tree removal was completed as requested and the climbers were highly skilled. However, we were disappointed by the overall lack of care for our property and overall professionalism. The manager, Chris, requested to use our driveway to make the job “safer”, in which we allowed, trusting their judgment as they were the professionals. Unfortunately, a significant crack was left in our driveway due to the weight of their bucket truck. When the manager brought the crack they made to our attention, while anxiously smoking a cigarette in front of us, (the customers) before we could say anything he defensively added “It’s not like your driveway doesn’t already have cracks!” which we found extremely unprofessional and dismissive. Since he claimed they could not do anything about the damage they literally caused, we requested some sort of discount on our final price. While the manager, Chris, initially mentioned offering $50–$100 off the total price, that was not granted. In addition to the crack, one of our rose bushes were also run over, despite their assurance that the area would be avoided. In addition, the manager, Christopher, continuously smoked on our property throughout the job, which we found extremely unprofessional. As a “professional”, it was his responsibility to assess the risks, (like realizing a bucket truck is extremely to heavy for a residential driveway) and take precautions to avoid harming our property. It does not matter if you are doing work in The Landings or in a trailer park everyone’s property should be treated with respect.

The guys were working on the neighbor’s yard and I asked them about a few tree things on mine. They gave me a fair price, did the work quickly and an excellent job of cleaning up. No more overhanging or dead limbs over the street, driveway or neighbor’s landscaping, and a lot more light on our property. Great work!

We had a tree fall on our roof during a storm and the guys from Sav-a-Tree came within a week to help remove the tree and clean up the mess it left behind. As first time homeowners, we were so stressed about the whole situation but Chris Douglas was an amazing first point of contact, he explained everything so clearly and answered all our questions. He did everything in his power to make our situation better and we couldn’t be more grateful. The whole team that came out to remove the hazardous tree (The crew leader name was John and rest of crew was Brent Gavin and another Chris) were professional and compassionate and we felt safe leaving our home in their capable hands. SavATree did a great job trimming our live oak as we are outside of Savannah's beautification circle. Basically to far from the tourists' eye for the city or county to spend the money on, so it is up to the homeowners to take care of the live oaks. But I dirgress, back to SavATree. I was impressed with the knowlege the arborist brought during the consult, laser pointer to show me exactly where cuts would be done as to not harm the tree. The team that came to do the work was on time, had great energy, and even did a little tree rodeo for us as the bucket couldn't be used. The team finished, cleaned up, and was gone like they were never there in less than 2 hours. Highly recommend!

Absolutely would recommend to anyone needing tree care or removal. I was able to easily schedule an appointment online with Chris, a certified arborist. He evaluated the tree and determined the safest thing would be to remove the tree. We were able to get it on the scheduled and the crew that came to complete the job was excellent. John, Jesse, Chris and Damion were efficient and professional. They had the tree down and stump ground down in less than 4 hours. They found a few young squirrels in the process and thoughtfully put them in a fabric planter with some leaves until their momma could return for them. If I ever need tree care services again, I will absolutely be using SavATree again!

I have been using SavaTree for 3 years. Their work is great, efficient and priced fairly. I have had them cut down an extremely large tree distroying a project homes foundation 4' in diameter ( no errors or damage the home) also trees surround by power lines trimmed to minimize all the crap falling in my pool, they trim palm trees and provide lawn treatment services. Knowledgable and efficient. I highly recommend SavaTree.
