The key to great workmanship is having the right tools. JD and the crew certainly do have the tools. Seeing their big "Emergency Tree Service" truck and a HUGE crane working on our street I inquired about getting some mulch. But they weren't mulching the 8 trees my neighbor was having removed just carting them away in pieces in their roll-off dumpster. JD was not who I expected to be the co-owner of the operation asked if I needed any tree work, which I did... a Bradford in the front yard was leaning badly. JD walked over and gave me an estimate for cutting, removing and stump grinding. While he was there I asked about a huge old Hemlock up against the back corner of the house with branches extending out over the entire roof that were a big problem if a branch came down. JD sized it up, went back to talk to his crew, then texted me an estimate for both trees which was quite reasonable. Within an hour the giant crane, big bobcat, dumpster and the crew were set up and hard at working. As the sun set 4 hours later the job was mostly done. The next morning they returned for the cleanup and stump grinding. Their system is amazing and we are relieved to have the peace of mind that we are not going to get crushed in our sleep by a big branch crashing through our newly shingled roof. JD is super responsive, reasonably priced and the crew works their tail off doing a dangerous job with the aid of great tools.

JD, Jon and Hudson from D&S Land Services were phenomenal. We had tree removal and forestry mulching done in our back yard and it absolutely transformed the space. It was a brushy, overgrown mess before and now it's a beautiful and useable space. It looks like a gorgeous park! My little boys can't wait to get out there and play. JD was gold star professional from start to finish. He made sure everything went smoothly, was responsive, punctual and checked in to make sure we were happy with everything afterwards. I can't recommend these guys enough, they were a pleasure to work with and did a great job!

JD, Jon, and the rest of the employees with D & S Land Services were professional, friendly, caring, and amazing. They quickly responded to our call and came out in the dark to ensure the house was safe for the night. They came out first thing the next morning with a crane and all the other important tools needed to remove a tree! They removed the tree in a safe manner and put a tarp over the holes and damaged areas on the roof. They are working with us and our insurance company to ensure that everything is handled through our homeowners' insurance policy! They also made sure the area on and around the fallen tree and house was clean of trees and leaves! They have also recommended an amazing roofing company that is going to be able to help us with ALL of our rebuilding needs. If you are in need of tree removal, I highly recommend D & S Land Services. They also offer other services, and we plan on using them for those needs!! Call them today!!

We hired D&S for tree removal and mulching at our lake property. JD was professional, on time, and competitive with pricing. They removed 13 trees from our front and backyard. After they cut the trees down they mulched our backyard, which saved money and time with hauling and disposal. This was the best thing ever! We have a better view and less leaf blowing every fall! Highly recommend! We are Very happy with the end results! Highly recommend!

We highly recommend D&S Land Services. They were great to work with and Wow! what a great job they do! They removed many trees and mulched everything making our wooded area in our backyard cleared out and look so much better. They also cleaned up the yard where wood chips had blown in the grass which was very appreciated. They are personable and professional, quick to respond, on time for the appointment and did a great job. Very pleased!

Jon, James and JD cleared a large oak tree downed by a storm and 2 other trees that were damaged in the storm. They chipped those and several trees that were down elsewhere on the property. In addition they cleared an old chicken shed and dog lot. The entire crew was professional and the work was spot on.
