I'm not the review type of person, really I'm not but I'm sure there are folks out there like us who just don't have the bank account to handle a tree emergency that this review might help. After the recent rain and winds we awoke to find an 80ft+ tree had snapped and was resting against another tree with power lines 30 ft away. Additionally, we had a 90 ft pine where the trunk had rotted thus was open and hollow in the middle - the bottom 1/3rd of the tree was shaped like a crescent moon. After going to craigslist, Steve was the first of 10 services contacted to respond. After sending him a pic, Steve was on site in 60 minutes. Previous calls and estimates for the rotted out tree mentioned above was in the thousands. It's common knowledge services that use lifts and cranes are out of reach for us working stiffs. Services who have the skilled climbers are usually much cheaper but every one of those services contacted said it couldn't be done as 1 tree had snapped but still attached and the other was too deteriorated. Enter Steve and Asah Tree Service. I have never seen anything like what I saw him do. Not only was Steve successful in both of these "against the odds tree take downs" He did just about the entire job BY HIMSELF. It was after learning he's been doing this for a couple of decades I understood the benefits of someone with decades of experience who is old school and applies the principals of physics to do what he does as opposed to the services that rely on equipment first and knowledge and experience second (unaffordable for us) that would fill our yard and driveway with cranes and lifts. A final thought worth mentioning. As I watched these things come down successfully without doing any damage to anything, Steve was hooting and hollering akin to a Georgia Bulldog player on field last night when they won the national championship. Don't see that kind of passion too much these days. He was a little disappointed though; the 80+ft snapped tree that was against the other tree mentioned above that could have taken out the power lines; it landed 3 inches off from where Steve thought it would. Need I say any more?

Stephen (ASAH Tree Service) was excellent to work with. When I initially called for a quote, he was quick to respond. He worked with me on the price and showed up on time. His work was beyond expectation. I seldom give reviews and I am very factual about my experience with a company. Stephen was so easy to work with and did an excellent job that I felt compelled to let anyone who is looking to have a tree trimmed know they will be very happy they hired Stephen with ASAH.

His price was reasonable and affordable. He did a very nice job and did everything he said he was going to do. Will definitely hire him again when I need tree service.

I saw a sign for Asah tree service on the side of the road and gave Steve a call. He came out on time, gave me a reasonable estimate and went over and beyond what we were expecting. We had 2 River Birch trees that were taking over my front yard and blocking a lot of our grass from getting sun. Our yard guy suggested we find someone who could trim them back. They look AMAZING! I would highly recommend Steve!
