We have used TruGreen for well over a decade now. Their product for weed control used to be effective and we used to be able to reach our local office if there was ever an issue. I recall speaking to a professional, customer-service oriented employee named Tanya, a few times whenever I called in. That was then. This is now. We can no longer reach the local office, the calls are re-routed to a corporate call-center, hence I can no longer reach the "Tanya person", etc..The products they are using these days are totally ineffective or the company is simply watering down the product altogether. We have reached out multiple times this spring and summer. The local manager has been out once or twice to "evaluate" and "re-treat" our yard, but it made NO difference whatsoever! We have paid for absolutely nothing! Will be asking for a complete refund and we will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau, and others. Our yard has looked terrible all year long. Buyer Beware!

Kayla Norris has been incredibly polite and helpful when I had questions about our billing. She promptly provided me with multiple options, allowing me to choose the most convenient one for our business. I would highly recommend TruGreen for anyone trying to boost the quality of their lawn.

Horrific service. Have called multiple times to complain about how terrible our yard looks after 5 months of being treated. Continually told a manager will call. The manager never calls. We have received texts saying service was completed when we are home and no one has been there. When you call, they say it was a mistake and they went to the wrong house and they will send someone out right away. Our yard actually looks worse than before we started treatment. We just received a letter from our HOA about excessive weeds, we never got a letter before starting treatment. Will be filling a complaint with the BBB and whatever other steps I have to take to rectify this supposed “GUARANTEED” service. Do not waste your money or your sanity dealing with this company that could care less about their customers.

TruGreen essentially provides the exact same service as every other "lawn care" company, but at a higher cost than many. Our lawn was satisfactorily healthy under their care. Our primary issue was being billed for services the technician did not perform. We have 11 security cameras around our home - and if you're on our property I know exactly what you're doing - or not doing as the case may be. Second issue is that it's impossible to reach anyone at the local office. Everything is routed to a call center even if you call the "local" number. Have reported several issues and promised by the call center person that a local supervisor would be in touch, which NEVER happens. Finally decided to take my business to a more local company. While they do provide service in several states, when I call the "local" office I reach a local representative. My "lawncare specialist" happens to live about 2 miles from my house. And the best part is, their services cost around 30% less than TruGreen - and some, such are aeration are about 50% less. Lime amendment is around $115 with TruGreen, but included with the basic service with our new company. TruGreen isn't the worst, but you can do better - and more affordably - elsewhere.
