I used this service for about a year and saw very little change to my lawn even after changing my watering habits based on their recommend recommendations. And now today, when they call to try to win my business back, they want to charge me to come back out to do an analysis. I definitely would not recommend this company.

After many years of maintaining my lawn DIY, I finally decided to get some assistance. TruGreen’s reviews were all over the place, but I chose to give them a try. I opted for the full‑year package and paid in full to get the discount. The sales rep was excellent, and customer support really won me over. We negotiated the package, I was satisfied with the deal, and I quickly downloaded the app. The representative told me I’d be added to the schedule, but after a week with little to no movement in the app, I reached out. Since I had already paid in full, I wanted to see some progress to justify the cost. My first service was scheduled about three weeks later. I spoke with the technician in person—he seemed knowledgeable, and the visit went well overall. The second service was aeration. I flagged all my sprinkler heads and lines as requested. I noticed the technician driving over the flags, so I stopped him and asked. He explained that his machine allowed him to raise the spikes when passing over flagged areas. No big deal. The next day, however, my sprinklers weren’t running correctly. I discovered multiple punctured lines and damaged heads. TruGreen told me to get a quote and repair the system, and they would cover the cost. I contacted the original installer, they completed the repairs, and TruGreen paid the invoice in full. Once again, customer service was excellent. The third service was where things really fell apart. I wasn’t home, but I saw the technician knock on the door with a backpack sprayer, spray a single strip while walking back to the truck, then sit in the truck for about 30 minutes before leaving. The ticket claimed he treated 10,000 square feet with weed control and applied fertilizer. In reality, he was on my lawn for maybe 30 seconds. I called TruGreen, and they said they’d send another technician the next day. No one showed, and the appointment was rescheduled again. At that point, I contacted customer service and requested a refund for the remaining services I had not received. While their customer service was consistently great, the on‑site technicians did not match that level of quality, and I wasn’t seeing any results. After the refund, I switched to a local company. Their rates were significantly lower, they spend a full hour on my lawn, and the results have been outstanding. Ultimately, TruGreen’s customer service is excellent, but the local technicians did not deliver the results I expected.

One size fits all service so far. To be fair only 2 visits... trugreen "assest" my lawn via computer. Poor communication other than they're coming. If my lawn improves so will my review.

The technician did a great job core aerating my lawn. This was their second visit, and Inpaid for the package in full up front. The only problem was that he hit the buried cable for my internet connection. Now I have no internet and have a lot of important work to do from home. My internet provider can't get anyone out here to take a look until Thursday and this happened on Monday. Your company told me to mark the areas for my sprinkler heads were with flags which I did, but I wish you had told me to have someone come out and mark area where my lines are located. This is going to cost me more in lost income than what I paid for the service.

Service was great! I was able to be put on the schedule quickly! The team came out early and got right to work! They finished quickly and my yard looks great! It took a huge stress off my shoulders and one more thing off my plate for the week! Appreciate you guys!
