I have lived in Irwin County for over 20 years. I have never known a power company that has so many outages. It's ridiculous and even worse getting power restored. Can anyone explain why?

I want to show my appreciation for the speedy response and repair experience I had this morning with Irwin EMC. I had 1 trunk line of power go out to my residence around 4am today and I reported online at 445am and received a callback by 450am and they immediately sent a crew out. Determined part of underground line that needed replaced and due to no access to power booster, they decided to dig and repair immediately. They had excavator sent out and repaired by 845am. Thank you so much for such excellent service. Very appreciative customer.

Not even worth 1 star . My wife and I made the worse decision of our lives by moving to this area in Georgia and had this horrible company for electric service, or bills were 100.00 a week which I have never heard in my life of a power bill being this high which equals to 400.00 a month . I see this as price gouging and taking advantage of people living in Irwin County . By the grace of God we were able to move back to Florida were we are from and we got our first electric bill was 200.00 ! Go figure ! Shame on you Irwin Emc !

It's the best electric company I have been in service with. I have a pre pay account and love it. I receive a text message balance and kwh used from previous day. They are quick to restore service and have a drive up window, 24 hour kiosks or you can pay online. I wish I could take them with me if I one day move away.

We live In SWFL were Hurricane Ian hit. i want to thank you guys SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. TY so much for coming here to help us get back to normal. LCEC didnt care but you guys did. The 2 nicest lineman followed me to my house and hooked up our power took 10 mins while LCEC trucks drove by. We were the only house on our block with no power for 11 days. i appreciate you guys so much. GA YOU ROCK .
