If you want great pricing and a job well done, this is where you want to place your investment. We’ve used SAS twice in the past few years. Ben always takes the call, and is on-site to walkthrough the plan in 24hrs. He isn’t in it just to fall trees and collect the cash; he will assess and suggest solutions to help save damaged trees you don’t necessarily want to lose. His concern for healthy growth falls right in line with our interests in the conservation of nature and wildlife. When the planned workday arrives, he and his crew are ready to go at or before 8am. You can count on them working their magic within the first hour. His crew is professional, friendly, and mindful of the property. Even with the tractor moving the cut sections out, they hardly leave a trace at the end of each work day. We had a huge oak canopy cleaned out, and 8 hickories/sweet gums removed in two days. They were in and out 8-4:30 on Day 1; 8-2:30 on Day 2. My head is still spinning at how quickly they can completely clear 40-50ft trees, without damaging surrounding fixtures/plants. 10/10 would recommend to residents of Newton/Walton/Rockdale and surrounding counties.

Ben and his team of tree removal experts were wonderful from start to finish! Ben came out, provided his honest opinion on some trees we were concerned about being close to the house and explained the pros and cons of removal vs pruning so we could make the best decision. The prices were very fair and he broke down the costs that would be due before any work was done. His team arrived right on schedule on the day of removal and worked hard until their job was complete. They were very respectful of our home & yard. There were no limbs, branches or debris left, communication was clear and consistent, and all the workers were in sync and the whole process of taking the tree apart piece by piece, guiding the limbs with ropes, and the “tree climber” was so fun for our son to watch! We highly recommend Ben and his awesome team at Southern Arbor Source to help in any tree removal process!!

Fantastic company! Ben came out and gave us a competitive quote for falling a complex, multi-trunk pine tree in our yard. They came out the same week and fell the tree, then came back the next day to grind the trunk. I’d recommend these guys to anyone.

Ben and his team were top quality! I would hire them again no question. They removed a VERY large gumball tree from near our house with great skill. They went above and beyond, even clearing other debris for us from some other yard work we had done. Even when the stump grinding was delayed beyond their control, they kept me updated and made sure I knew when they were coming out. Definitely recommend them!
