Outstanding Drainage & Landscaping Work We recently hired Ground Effects Landscaping out of Brunswick, GA company to address several serious drainage and erosion issues around our property, including problems at our bulkhead/retaining wall, roof runoff, soil stability, and grading. The scope of work was extensive, and they handled it professionally from start to finish. They corrected deep erosion holes forming in front of the retaining wall by installing a comprehensive French drain system using 4" perforated pipe with sock, drainage fabric, fittings, and 13 tons of #57 granite rock. Approximately 135 feet of drain line was installed with proper tees, emitters, and trim grates to ensure surface water is effectively collected and redirected away from the wall. The installation was clean, well-planned, and built to last. They also removed sections of the pier decking as needed and properly compacted the soil to prevent future settlement issues. In addition, they installed a roof water runoff management system, running approximately 200 feet of 4" corrugated HDPE pipe to redirect gutter water safely through the wall and away from the structure. Downspout adapters and extensions were added where accessible, ensuring water is now dispersed properly instead of pooling near the foundation. Once the drainage system was complete, they delivered and graded fill dirt to improve slope and water flow away from the house and seawall. To prevent future erosion, they installed five pallets of Centipede sod, which was professionally laid and rolled for proper establishment. They even scheduled a complimentary follow-up visit in 2–3 weeks to assess sod health and review irrigation, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality and customer service. Additionally, they addressed a leaning section of the retaining wall by installing structural reinforcement with tie-backs and appropriate anchoring materials to stabilize the wall properly. The Crew maintained a clean job site throughout the project and completed a thorough final cleanup, leaving the property level, tidy, and ready to use. We were so pleased with the quality of their work, professionalism, and attention to detail that we’ve already hired them again to come back in a few weeks to resolve issues with our sprinkler system. Overall, this was a large and complex project involving drainage engineering, structural stabilization, grading, and landscaping. The workmanship, materials used, communication, and follow-through were all excellent. I would highly recommend Ronnie and his crew to anyone needing drainage correction, erosion control, retaining wall stabilization, or sod installation.

I cannot recommend Ground Effects Landscaping enough. They just finished up an extensive overhaul of my 8-zone irrigation system, and the entire experience was outstanding. Chance was absolutely awesome to work with. He takes serious pride in his work, and it shows. Instead of just patching up a few minor issues, he went all out to trench new lines cleanly, replacing almost every single head, optimizing the spray zones, and upgrading me to a brand-new controller. The attention to detail, professionalism, and sheer efficiency he brought to the job was top-notch. If you need your irrigation dialed in right by people who actually care about the quality of their work call these guys.

If you want the best hire Ronnie Cochran and Ground Effects landscaping. Been doing business with him for years and provides reliable and superior service . My ivy in my lawn was dying due to fungus and I hired them to remove it all and replace it with sod. They even stump grinded a few stumps in the way. They adjusted sprinklers and are very concerned that the sod does well. He even is going to look at my lawn lighting, There is nothing they can't do it seems ! Highly recommend this reputable business person. What he says he will do he does.
