I cannot say enough good things about this company! The crew arrived right on time and worked incredibly well together—a true definition of a well-oiled machine. They took down a few smaller trees with ease, but the real test was a massive, complex project on our property. We had two large trees that had grown together, measuring a whopping 5' 4" in diameter at the base. To make things more challenging, it was on private property in very close proximity to our neighbors, with a massive limb hanging directly over more than half of our roof. The crew brought in a crane and handled the tight space and high stakes flawlessly. What really set this company apart, though, was the owner's expertise. He correctly diagnosed the co-dominant tree as diseased. If it had fallen, it would have caused catastrophic damage to our house and at least three neighboring homes. The owner provided a detailed diagnostic quote, which we were able to submit to our HOA as immediate grounds for removal. They saved our home, protected our neighbors, and left the property spotless. If you want a tree service that combines brilliant expertise, safety, and top-tier execution, look no further! Highly recommended.

Hiring Big South Land and Tree was the best decision I could have ever made. We live in Jefferson Ga and had a tree fall on our house. Johnny and his crew were there the same day and took care of it all. We are extremely happy with the outcome. So whether you need tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, land clearing, or storm cleanup I recommend that you call Johnny and his team. You won't regret it.

Johnny and his crew did a fantastic job removing several trees in my backyard. They were extremely careful on where the trees landed and did a great job cleaning up. He also had another crew that came out and graded my back wooded lot and spread gravel to prep for a shed and fire pit area. Phenomenal job all around and the back yard looks great! I highly recommend! He also has fair and competitive prices. A+++

We had a fantastic experience with Big South Land and Tree. Johnny came out to look at two trees we needed cut down and our two giant river birch trees we needed trimmed. Johnny was incredibly knowledgeable as a certified arborist and walked us through our options without high-pressure tactics. His pricing was extremely competitive, and his crew was remarkably professional. They were safety conscious and took all necessary precautions when dropping two trees with their ropes and harnesses. And the trees in front of our house look better than I imagined! I had no idea they could be cleaned up so well. The limbs were messy and had a ton of volume drooping down. We had to duck when cutting the grass on a riding mower. I was also super impressed that they put down pads on our yard for the heavy equipment so they didn’t mess up my grass, and they cleaned up like they were never even there! I would highly recommend Big South to anyone who needs their trees done!
