I hate to leave negative reviews but this company earned it. We hired them on the recommendation of our neighbors who had a good experience. We had our landscaping done in 2020 and then in 2022 we had a nice lawn established and turned it over to king green for maintenance and to keep the weeds out. Within a couple months we noticed bare patches where the grass died and over another couple of months it kept spreading like a disease. I spoke to our tech about it who supposedly texted her boss about the situation but we never hear back about it. The following month she came again and said it looked terrible and we still hadn't heard back from management. It felt like we were being ghosted. Another month and finally the manager showed up and could see our disappointment. All we had left was dirt and weeds. I showed pictures of our lawn before they started so he could see the difference. He apologized and then agreed to kill off the whole lawn and reseed. They did that before thanksgiving 2022. The grass had a hard time in the winter coming in due to the cold snaps so they came back for another seeding in spring. Lawn started coming in nicely and I followed their instructions for watering to a T. After they started treating again, low and behold, the grass started dying off and weeds took over. The most recent tech came and did nothing for weed control. We did have issues early on with a tech that didn't treat the whole yard and we had to call (we have cameras on the property so we know he missed) and get them back out. After this second round of death I'm just done paying them. They obviously can't manage our lawn once it's established. All these months paying only to end up with a dirt and weed lawn that they managed to kill twice. Attached are the pictures of parts of our lawn on the day we cancelled their service. Poor communication, techs who have failed to do the job, lawn full of weeds and dirt or just nothing but dirt, I just can't justify giving them another dollar.
UPDATE: They came out today and treated for the crabgrass so they do listen to their customers concerns. I will post updated pictures as soon as treatment has time to work. I do appreciate their attention to my request. I upped the rating because they did what they said and retreated the problem areas for me and we discussed having tech treat problem areas as they arise Fertilization program seams to work but weed control not as much . I keep requesting they take care of weeds by road without harming my Bermuda grass but every time I go out the crabgrass still there and spreading.
I want to give a shout out to service technician Abbey S. It is evident that she loves her job and does it well!!! She is professional, has GREAT communication, is knowledgeable and has wonderful energy. Keep up the good work Abbey!
Not fully satisfied. My grass looks decent but there are weeds that they can't get rid of assuming that it was treated accordingly. I've asked them to spot treat but they are still thriving in some area.*** updating to 5 stars. They listen and seems like they do their best to meet customer's satisfaction. The manager came out to remedy the issue.
Andrew the rep I've dealt with has been VERY timely in getting back to me, and I appreciate that it's all been by email my preferred contact method, who really wants more phone calls? NOT ME! Andrew has been excellent. I contacted two other competitors on a Friday after 5 and Andrew had gotten back to me around 9am the following Monday and the other company got back to me the day after and the third never answered me. I told the second company they would have gotten my business, but Andrew got the job because if I had an issue who knows how long they would have taken to respond.
