The quality of the work from King Green has gone straight downhill. I’ve been with him since 2013 and today I canceled. I have more weeds in my yard and crab grass. Then I’ve ever had ever the guy today came through and didn’t care about all the weeds and bad grass and was in a hurry was in and out in 15 minutes and gone to the next. It’s just terrible what’s happened to a good company
Josh came this morning to service my yard. He called before he arrived to let me know, ( which I appreciate), was very friendly and my yard looks great!!
We move in March of 2024 and hired King Green right away. First year was nowhere near what our old lawn only a mile away looked. This year is even worse and I contacted them at the start of growing season. Only positive I can think is MAYBE it's better than nothing? Will be looking for another company or let it go.
We used Georgia Lawn Growers for years and valued their service. After the owner retired and sold the business, we were never informed that King Green would take over. There was no notice, contract, or introduction—just a text in October asking for technician feedback, which I assumed was spam. No bill, no proof of service. On December 18, my front camera alerted me at 9:49 a.m. A technician left a bill, made two quick passes across the front lawn with a hand spreader, and left by 9:54 a.m. My property is a quarter acre—impossible to service in five minutes, especially when the previous company used riding spreaders. Back cameras show no activity, so the service was incomplete. I have video evidence. Where were the October and November services? Where was the discussion of what would be provided? Instead, fertilizer was applied to a small patch, and I was left with a $59 bill—without permission or a signed agreement. This process feels deceptive. I would never recommend a company that operates in such a way.
I did not see his work, therefore no way to rate it. I know in the past I routinely have weeds in my grass down the left side of my house as you face it. Pictures below show they are still there….
So far, so good. We were not present at the time Justin serviced the property. However we did notice the application sign on the lawn and service invoice at the front door along with an email from Justin explaining today's service.
