Description Rutherwood is a complete, licensed and insured tree-removal service also offering small scale tree work such as limb removal and stump grinding. We do not buy standing timber nor do we pick up logs for free. We offer traditional and Alaskan sawmill services and kiln-dried live-edge slabs, furniture grade lumber, milling, one-of-a-kind custom furniture, art, and objet d’art out of salvaged wood. We use a low-temperature dehumidification kiln that dries lumber down to 8-10% moisture content for furniture grade lumber, stored in a humidity controlled showroom to prevent moisture reabsorption. We had work done by Levi and he was great!! We had a few trees very close to the house, and he did great removing them safely and efficiently. He and his team worked quickly, and cleaned up the yard nicely as well, which was a big bonus! Would absolutely recommend!!

Just want to give a shout out to Rutherwood for always lending a hand to help out my partner (Steven Weatherford) who owns a tree service (Top Notch Cuts) in Carrollton. He is great to work with and his wife, Hannah, always makes sure the office side of things runs smoothly. Levi and Hannah are some of the best people we know and we are proud to call them friends. Levi is also a talented artist and when he recently held a show at the arts center in Carrollton, any money made was donated to charity. He is someone that likes to give back to the community and we could use more people like him.
