*I had to update my review down to 3 stars due to bullet point one regarding the catch basin. After the rain last week, it made a hole in our yard and the catch basin is now visible underground (picture attached). Honestly, the overall experience was good. Mark was really responsive and the crew did an excellent job in fixing our backyard. The price was better than most other places. Three reasons why I couldn't give them five stars. 1.) There is still a trail forming even with the catch basin they put in place. They came back after we paid to come take a look at it (which was super generous) but they didn't completely fix the issue. Mark said they would put rocks or something but ended up just cementing it which the water still goes around. 2.) Even though, they put wood in our neighbors driveway (which was our biggest concern), they didn't for ours so they left big trails in our front yard from the machines. 3.) The crew left a lot of their trash in our backyard (like food wrappers/bottles) so we had to clean it up after they left. Again, the overall experience was great! We are needing our backyard tree removed but we're not 100% sold to use them again just because of the first reason.

Below response explains my lower rating. Owner came unannounced, quoted too high with rushed sale tactics, then was extremely rude when we realized and explained our other quotes would’ve been cheaper even with the cancellation fee (I realized the other quotes were basically same work, was given impression this co. Was doing much more hence the price agreed to). We got price down some but it very unpleasant and still probably too much. Still 2 stars because team and quality of work were actually good and I think if someone else quotes the work for you / negotiates it’s likely a good service. Thanks for the response.

We have used this company a few times for tree removal and trimming palm trees. These guys are fantastic! Very neat, protects property and always leave the property in better shape than before they began the work. Mark and his crew are simply the best. We have a Koi Pond near the vicinity where several large trees were removed. They went above and beyond to protect koi and pond. These guys are good!!!

We have been very pleased with DP Tree Service. They did 3 jobs for us and so far everything has been great. Ian (salesperson) has always been easy to work with and very professional. On each job they completed everything that was agreed on time and left the job site very clean. Highly recommend them.

We had DP tree service come to our home to remove a large amount of tree cuttings. Estimate and work were done on the same day. So pleased that they even cleaned up the debris that was left! Felt the price was true for the job. Wonderful to work with and would recommend their service.

I am not one to write many reviews, but I am compelled to write one on behalf of DP Tree Services. I found them through Home Advisor and within minutes they reached out. I responded and they offered to come out same day to provide a quote. If you know anything about tree services they are not cheap. And although it is tempting to go for the cheapest option, quality of service and experience matter. The implications are too great to compromise. And thank goodness they were competitively priced because they were worth every cent. This comes as a huge comfort to me because I did not budget for the unexpected need to have my tree significantly trimmed back and my backyard cleared. I don't regret spending one dime. In some ways, this was the best money I have spent in sometime. My lead contact provided a quote and remained accessible throughout the day as I had many questions, since this was a new and big decision for me. He answered all my questions and gave me such confidence I made the right decision. They came out the next day to get the work done. And I am one satisfied customer. They did the job swiftly and thoroughly. My lead contact arrived early to do a walk through to triple check the plan. The owner of the company even came out to make sure the job was properly managed. They did a great job cleaning up behind as well. And believe it or not, my home feels new. Much better looking cleaned up, with better visibility, and safer. And I know since I paid to get the job done right, I won't have to make this investment again in quite some time. Thank you DP! Highly recommend!
