Description Tree M.D. LLC was founded by Joseph Martin . In April of 2020 he met a man while fishing the Chattahoochee River who introduced him to the tree industry. He was instantly fascinated by the challenge of the job, the satisfaction of the customers, and the earning potential of the field. For several years Joe and worked for private tree companies performing a variety of tasks associated with the daily operations of a tree company. Tree M.D. LLC is a residential and commercial tree removal company that also provides pruning, stump grinding coordination, and emergency services.

Well, I don’t recommend this guy. Second edit to reply to the owners response. Hey Joe, not once have you reached to offer a refund, nor have you offered to finish the job which is what I want. You blocked my texts. I haven’t harassed you, how can I? You blocked my phone number. I am not attacking your character, my review explicitly states that I liked your character, it’s the reason why you got the job over a companies with lower bids. I understand about peoples livelihoods, I took a hit on mine when you took payment for a partially done job. Edited to add, it's been a month since this guy took my money and failed to complete the job. I can't even go in my backyard without being pissed off every time I look at my trees. I'm so mad this guy scammed me. I asked him for an estimate to remove 2 trees in my back yard. He did not want to kill the trees. I assured him that I have already planted 10 new trees in my front yard to make up for the slaughter. The oak tree is beautiful, don’t kill it, etc etc. He pulled on my heart strings for this job he was going to do on Earth Day🤦♀️🤷♀️. He assured me that he could trim to the top while still keeping the tree. I confirmed several times that there would just be a trunk all the way up until the top with a canopy AT THE TOP. He assured me it could be done. We rented a boom lift for our front yard trees and did it ourselves. We decided to hire someone for the back yard trees because of the large limbs higher up and we weren’t confident in our ability to not drop any on our out buildings. I had other estimates for removing the tree and leaving the stumps that were the same as his to trim, or $1200 to remove both trees and leave the stumps. I went with this guy because he’s a veteran, he had a common story that reflects most of our vets post military after decades of service. His story was a lot like my uncle, my husband, my friends husbands, and MANY others out there wandering after retirement needing something to fulfill their day to day. Too much booze and no direction. He was confident in his sales pitch, I liked his personality, and it seemed like he needed the work more than the others. Not just for the monetary part, but for the mental health part of keeping busy working etc. I feel like I got scammed. This is not worth $1000. This is not what we agreed on. I’m super disappointed in this guy, and the job he did compared to the job we talked about. He didn’t cut anything that we couldn’t have done with our ladder. None of the large higher limbs were removed or even trimmed. I’m completely flabbergasted that he stays in business. Highly do not recommend for anything you don’t get in writing with a diagram on what he has in his head versus what was said out loud. I talked to him about this and expressed my dissatisfaction before he left, he said I was SOL. He stated that if he cut any more limbs the tree would die from lack of water. He said he didn’t want to get sued because he killed my tree. I said I don’t care if the tree dies, that’s literally what you were hired to do and you talked me out of it. He said he would cut the rest for $2500. Seriously? I did pay him the $1000 after our conversation. Maybe I shouldn’t have. I was very dumb struck by the result of the job and his attitude toward it. The picture of the tree limbs in his trailer is ALL that he cut. Which includes trimmings from my neighbors tree that was hanging in our yard that I did not ask him to do. The white lines on the photo of the 2 trees is where he stopped cutting. Why does he offer tree removal if he doesn’t like “killing trees.” He did clean up his mess very well.

Joe is a true professional and did a great job. Communication was always great and he did what he said. The job site was immaculate when he left and he had reasonable prices. I definitely would recommend Tree MD.
