The Sterling crew were professional from start to finish. They provided a no-cost quote. They were able to begin the work the next day and finished ahead of schedule. They completed extensive weeding of back yard and side yard plant beds, trimmed shrubbery in front of our home as well as two holly trees. They thinned out and transplanted our mondo grass to thinning areas of the yard. Overall this team took care of a lot of yardwork and maintenance that would have taken us weeks to complete—and they did it in just one day. Highly recommend.

Excellent and professional service, both in Lawncare and landscaping. Pete and David are excellent and their staff is courteous, professional, and ver hardworking. I’m very happy with the work they did on my stairs - a custom job of expanding an old patio wall and staircase and extending it for safety.

I needed Sod put down in my backyard after getting a fence put up. Found Sterling Lawncare. Within a couple days he came out and ha professional quote emailed to me by that evening. Installed the sod and even did mulch work and leveled out the ground that was un-even. Even came back a few days later to do touch up work. A+++++++++++++

Would not recommend at all. Lazy service. When he started out, he was hired for a semi large project, which included picking up leaves, pulling weeds from under decorative rocks, putting down weed guard to prevent weeds from coming up in that rock bed, shaping hedges, maintaining our lawn. We should have known the quality in his service when he missed a big hedge in that first project (first impression), but I gave him the benefit of the doubt against the wishes others in my family. After that first project, he would send pictures of his job for a few times, but that stopped once he started half doing our yard. He did not pick up the leaves in our backyard in that first project, and cited an excuse of helping with drainage. I said ok. Once we got rid of the tree In our backyard, I asked him to pick up the leaves he had left for at least 2 months at this point (I paid for this in the first project and got a discount for him not doing it then). He still did not saying they were wet and needed to be raked (why would a landscaper not have a rake?) After being frustrated for several weeks with him not fully blowing my leaves or edging areas that should have been edged, I texted him to have written proof of what was included in my package (already expecting him to slim it down for his benefit), he responded with cutting, edging, and complimentary leaf blowing in the front yard. His teams process was to cut the yard first, then blow the leaves from the front to our fenced backyard and just leave them all over the backyard (not even to a corner). We have a door in the back of our fence that leads to a little square of our property right behind our fence that the leaves could have been blown, but they never thought or took the effort to do that. What's worse, they half blew the front yard they said was included in our package. I took pictures right after they left, just to prove the laziness of their work. Then they disappeared a 1 - 1.5 months ago, with no word only to text happy Thanksgiving the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I can only assume they were finished for the season, but never said a word. Again What's worse, my grass only recently went into the dormant phase in the past week. I may be young, but lousy work is never ok. Oh and he tried to overcharge us for laying sod. Didn't even see the other review. We laid the sod ourselves (no experience in laying sod or machinery, which he said he would use. Just watched YouTube videos and read. I'll attach the pictures, and you can compare between an amateur and what supposed to be a professional job.

If you are seeking customer care, reliability, and quality; look no further. I am another satisfied customer. My experience with Sterling Lawncare and Services has been superb. Mr. Horton is very knowledgeable about his profession, not only was he readily available to answer any questions that I had, but he was also available to listen. He also helped me to make better decisions that would allow his company to produce quality results. His staff is courteous and respectful. I am glad that I made the decision to allow them to put complete my project. This company and the workers put a smile on my face that money cannot buy! Two words to express my gratitude “Thank you”.

Responsive Bride

I hired the Sterling after my regular lawn guy did not show. We are having pictures taken of our home in a few Days and needed someone fast. Lucky we found Paye and David. They were very professional and finished the job ahead of time due to our urgency. I hired them for yard clean up and landscaping. Since COVID It had been hard to find good reliable and affordable lawn care teams. I am really happy with the service and price and will be using them moving forward for my lawn service needs.
