We had a bad experience with A1 Tree Service. We decided to use them because they were a family owned business and they bragged about all their previous work and even had pictures. The first brother gave the quote and the second brother showed up to do the work and it was a disaster. They were so late! They were suppose to arrive at 9:30am but they contacted us and said they would be a couple of hours late so they arrived at 4:00pm. We engaged them to straighten a Leyland Cypress that was falling over, trim other trees and provide a treatment for the trees. Their proposal (pictured) stated that the tree would be secured with "2 cables with eyelet" but instead of using cables they used ROPE and TWINE which will deteriorate quickly or snap when a big wind comes (see pictures). By the time we realized what they had done, we had paid them. We asked them to come back and replace the rope with cables and they wanted more money to complete the job because we canceled the tree treatment. We cancelled the tree treatment because the other work was so bad. Shoddy, half done work. It was a horrible experience! Old school bait and switch! Buyer beware!

They were supposed to lay sod and prume our true but they laid dead grass and didn’t prume the tree. The dead sod has killed our lawn and I have tried to contact to replace it they won’t respond after 4 attempts. Go with someone better!
