Martinez Tree Care & Landscape out of Gainesville absolutely deserves five stars. They showed up right at 8:00, got straight to work, and had my trees down and cleaned up by 3:00. They were professional, fast, and did exactly what they promised. I feel so much safer now that those dangerous trees are gone. My neighbor was so impressed that she had them take trim away some of the branches on her trees too. Same great service, same great results. If you need tree removal or landscaping work, Martinez Landscape is the one to call. Very reasonable on the price too!

They just finished a VERY difficult and dangerous job. Lightning split a very tall tree and the top third was dangling over my neighbors house. Five companies came by to look. Two said it was too dangerous and passed. Two wanted a crazy amount of money to bring in a crane. One gave me a reasonable price but could not show proof of current insurance, and was backed up for a week. Mr. Martinez and his very nice son came when promised, took a long time to analyze the situation, and gave me a fair price. Most importantly, they got to work right away. After securing his safety harness, he climbed to the top of an adjacent tree, and then got on the broken tree. He lassoed a rope to the middle of the broken section with some of knot that this former Boy Scout never heard of. Slowly and painstakingly, he started bringing the section to the ground. There were other trees, my fence, and the neighbors house to navigate. At one point, the broken section got tangled in a tree. So he hooked up a THIRD rope around some other trees, and with his son's help, used his truck to move it to the exact spot it had to go. Amazing! Great job! Watching father and son work together was a nice bonus.
