After a very frustrating experience with a previous landscaper, my wife Danielle and I were fortunate to find Greener Pastures Lawn Care and owner TJ Machado. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our home. Our property had to be completely redone — failed Centipede grass, poor irrigation setup, and no follow-up from the prior company. TJ came in, evaluated everything properly, and executed a full transformation. From installing new Zoysia sod, correcting and fine-tuning the irrigation system, improving water pressure distribution, to adding pine straw, plants, and beautiful uplighting, the difference is night and day. The attention to detail is what really sets them apart. Examples include thoughtful grading, clean bed lines, and smart transitions like the rock border from our lanai to the yard to prevent maintenance issues and water intrusion. TJ’s background in parks and turf management shows. As a retired state parks law enforcement ranger who once inherited managing 5 acres of turf in a promotion; requiring an education in such myself, I recognize when someone truly knows their craft, and TJ absolutely does. What impressed us most: • Daily presence on site with his crew • Clear and consistent communication • Deep knowledge of turf, irrigation, and plant selection for coastal Georgia • Pride in workmanship and long-term results, not just quick installs The final result gave our home a clean, upscale, finished look that we’re proud of. In this area, the best landscapers are usually booked solidly and for good reason. Greener Pastures is quickly becoming one of those companies. I highly recommend this lawncare company! I’ve used them for regular mowing, trimming bushes, cleaning up trees and shrubs, and even fence repair — and every time they have exceeded my expectations. They are dependable, professional, and extremely detail-oriented. My yard always looks clean, sharp, and well-maintained when they finish. The bush and tree cleanup was done carefully without damaging surrounding plants, and the fence repair was solid and well-crafted. It’s hard to find a company that does both landscaping and repair work this well, but they truly deliver. If you want reliable service and quality work, this is the team to call!
