David at Stumps Away is such a nice person. He is always on time, does a great job, cleans up afterwards and has very reasonable prices. I will always call Stumps Away when I need a stump removed.

UPDATED July 2021: I bought a new home that had 17 trees cut down in the back yard without grinding the stumps. I called David and he was out the next day. He has a servants heart, is extremely kind and respectful, and a very hard worker. He goes above and beyond for me and everyone I refer him to. Would highly recommend (and already have)! 2018: Amazing experience! David was SO kind. I was at work when I called for a quote. Not only was David the least expensive of all companies I called, he was also the most kind and offered to come out the same day. He and his team went to my house without me even being home, got the job done, and let me send a check in the mail. WONDERFUL customer service and wonderful job. Thank you!

David is one of the nicest guys to have done business with. When our tree service told us a stump grinder would be in touch, after the job was done, we waited for over 6 weeks. I finally asked for the name of someone else and David was recommended. He came the SAME day that I reached out to him and finished the job in 10 minutes. I will never use another stump grinder other than David for our future needs! Highly recommended!

I reached out to David after another company failed to return my call. Not only did David return my call, he came out the same day and did the job. I went into the house to get my checkbook, came back out to pay him and he already finished the job (3 stumps). Prompt, fast and reasonable. Also, he blew the mud and debris off my driveway at the end. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no need to call anyone else, highly recommend.

Concerning the review from Maxwell Colston: In the tree business there is quite a bit of competition in this area. At High Climbers Tree Service we strive to provide to our clients with superior service. For our clients that require stump grinding we partner with Stumps Away because of integrity of David Kidd. In the past ten years that we have worked together we have found that his work ethic is a good match for our vision of our company. We were the contractor hired to cut and remove the trees for the owner of this home. We completed the tree removal and asked Stumps Away to go to the property the following day and remove the stumps as was our contact with the home owner. When we received a call from David who was very upset about this review we were shocked as the home owner had reached out to us and informed us that he was more than satisfied with the work our two companies had performed. He indicated that he would be referring us to others. Upon research I have learned that this review was from a young man (son of the renter) who obviously does not understand the weight of one words. A bad review will carry on with you for years and is serious for those of us trying to simply make a living while treating others with respect. High Climbers Tree Service debunks and denies unequivocally this review. Sometimes you have to look at the source and realize ones maturity. We stand by Stumps Away!
